Pet Guidelines
Recently we have received few complaints about dog barking and nuisance especially during night time.
As per by bye-laws, we can not ask people to not to keep pets. However pet owner must ensure that their pet is not causing any nuisance in the neighbourhood and proper hygiene should be maintained in the premises as well.
Here are the guidelines that office bearers came up with:
- In society premise pets should not be allowed for its routine habits.
- Dog or any other pets should be treated medically so that they don't harm others in case of bite.
- Pet owner must ensure that their pet is not causing any nuisance in the neighbourhood.
It was unanimously decided by all the committee members to impose the fine to such a flat owner who is violating above guidelines (in both the cases of pet kept by the owner or the respective tenant).
It was decided that per written complaint of pet nuisance(against owner or tenant) and after confirmation of the same from other residents staying around, Rs 1000 fine will be levied to the respective flat owner for the first instance. On the subsequent instances, fine will be increased to 2000 Rs, 3000 Rs and so on in the multiple of Rs 1000.
